Lobo von Lufthafen  is a handsome 10 month old German Shepherd.  He is a good sized boy who had gotten very good care. Lobo has a gorgeous, thick, well groomed coat. His owner had to give him up because of a problem with his housing. We were told that Lobo is good with small dogs and large dogs as well. He has also been around children with no problems. Lobo is such a gentleman which is so surprising.  He is definitely mature for his age. He was great at a chaotic adoption event; he seemed fine with dogs and kids, noise and chaos. We are very proud of our new sweet hunk!

Lobo is an adorable dog and a pleasure to have in the house.  He is a happy and easy-going dog.  Lobo is housebroken and has been introduced to a crate.  He likes to go in and out of it throughout the day and is fine with the door shut.  Lobo knew the sit and shake commands when he came to us.  He is now quickly learning come, stay and leave it. He sleeps next to our bed through out the night and waits patiently in the morning for us to get up.  He is respectful of our dogs while they eat their own food and waits his turn to get a treat, which he takes gently.  Lobo likes our dogs, but they are less than interested in their new guest.  Lobo tries to engage in play but only receives a growl in return.  He would do well with another dog that wanted a canine buddy.  On walks he does well on a leash with a few corrections. Lobo can be a bit mouthy like many puppies.  So for now, he might be best in a home without real small children.  Lobo is up for anything fun.  He likes to play ball, but is also content just hanging out with us and his chew toy.
